im going from freshwater planted to reef.at anytime would i need to inject co2 into my reef tank.

CO2 is used in conjunction with a calcium reactor to dose calcium and alkalinity to a tank.

Into the tank?? None that I can think of.

LOL. I do this for my system. I have no calcium reactor. I just have a 20lb co2 canister and a solenoid valve. If I didnt do this my tank the pH would hit 8.7 every day. With my setup it stays about 8.35.

Ahh, I knew someone around was doing that. But honestly, I've never heard of anyone else doing that.
