I have something growing from LR.
Is this Good/Bad/Harmful?

yup just a little feather duster (tube worm). they are harmless filter feeders.

there must be an epidemic of tube worms going around
this might be about the 5th posting i have seen in last few days trying to identify these things!

actually they are pretty kewl!
i had a hob filter attached to my tank when first set it up and it had a cover over the top of it - i had it filled w/ live rock rubble only... when i finally removed it i opened the top up and inside there were what looked like thousands of these tube worms growing inside - perhaps liked the dark area w/ high water flow dont know but they were all over inside!

they are a good thing!
i want as many in my fuge as i can get!

Well, I think their UGLY and I don't like them! Everytime I see one I reach into the tank and pinch that little ba$%^&* into the next life! Thought it was time to give an opposing comment.

Generally harmless and common. They can irritate zoanthus if they grow in large numbers in the colony. They are easily removed with tweezers.
