Vortech Pin Spacer on System 120?

I know a few of you have the vortech's on your ELOS tanks. I think some of the noise from my vortechs is attributed to a bad pin spacing. I measured the glass to be about 1/2" thick, so I put the spacer to such.

I heard someone else and their vortech was virtually silent, and they mentioned playing around with the PIN spacer. I will probably experiment with different settings tomorrow, but in the meantime was wondering what the rest of you guys are doing.

I never touched my pin spacer on my system 80. It's always sounded fine so I left it alone, but I don't turn it up loud enough to hear it either.

how thick is your glass on the 80? what was the pin spacer set to?
