View Full Version : My Polys are bleaching?

My larger polyps seem to be drastically losing their color. I was wondering if this is due to too much light, not enough, or wrong spectrum. I am running 2 Plusrite 175w 20k bulbs 8 in. off the water in my 72 bowfront. Water parameters are all in line. I ordered a set of Reeflux 175w 12k bulbs to try but they have not arrived yet. Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks in advance for anyone's advice!

Are they new? How long have they been in your tank? Any lighting changes recently?

They don't seem to need lots of light. Mine are doing MUCH better at the bottom of my tank under PCs that at the bottom of my tank under MHs...
