Eh-los

I've seen the bowfront in the warehouse and it's pretty nice.

The bowfront at elos was what got me into the Elos line of tanks.

It's a really nice tank. I thought about getting one as well since I originally had a 92 corner bow, but I wanted to try something different. I don't think you can go wrong with any Elos tank. :D

That particular one is the 120 bow which is 48x20x20. We do a 160, 160xl and a 200 bow which is 2 meters by either 24x24 or 31.5x24 for the 200xl.

Jesse,

I'm sorry but I'm confused. Can you please give the specs for the 160, 160xl and 200 bow each in inches and are they also rimless and what are the gallonage of each of the 4 bows?

Appreciate it,

James

160-63x24x24- approx. 156 gallons
160xl-63x31.5x24 approx 210 gallons
200- 78.75x24x24 approx.200 gallons
200xl-78.75x31.5x24- 260 gallons

Thank you!

Any chance there is a 120XL bow? I love the 120 at 48" length, but 20" wide x 20" deep is a little on the small side.

Thanks for the quick replies,

James

are the 200 and 200xl new additions to the standard size lineup...those are big tanks :D

elosusa

Yep we make the 120xl bow. I have only brought in the 120 to date but these are standard sizes for us. The mold for 120's, 160's and the 200's has been made so any variation with those lengths can be done. Boozer, the 200 may be added to the, "official standards" but I would consider these, "unofficial standards now". That vague enough for you;)

This is 96" - I used to have an 84" tank in there and always thought if I did a custom tank, it would be ~76" long, and it would be perfect!

Look at all this extra space on the sides! Anyone want a good deal on a 160XL?

Wow, I'm surprised your wife hasn't said anything to you, yet. Better up her by one and get the custom bowfront! :)

After seeing the bowfront, large custom and standard sized tanks, it's hard to imagine another company that can deliver it all like Elos does. Thanks Jesse, for an awesome product!

Am I looking at the pic right, is the bottom made from a single piece of glass ?

elosusa

on the smaller versions, yes. 120xl and up you get into the multi piece bottom like the standard elos aquariums of the same size.

Could you have made the two longer sides on my tank bowed? I'm scared to know how much more it would of been, but that would be one sweet tank.

Bricky I am not sure. I know that we made the mold for our curved glass and I believe the largest one is for 2 meters. I have a picture of one on a pallet I can find just to give you an idea. It is a bow 200. The bow on the larger systems are much bigger. The bow on the 120 is around 3.5" and the one on the 200 is around 10". Let me find that picture to show you.

elosusa

a couple 200 bows on pallets being prepared to ship. These are in standard glass. You can see how much more pronounced the curve is on this size. Personally I think this size tank is begging for the "xl depth".
