Didnt seem that big to me. Smaler than a Koralia 2 with about the same GPH?

What is it with Taam and the video-camera look? Someone there must *really* love their security cameras...

it's true that it only puts out 500 gph but taam indicated they will have others available. also i've had a seio superflo for over a year now and i haven't have any problem nor have i had to replace any parts. my mjmod put out much more flow but it broke down alot. it the seio is nothing it's reliable.

Yeah, Got an answer it is 500GPH and $39.99 and looks like PA is taking phone pre orders.

I might just get it to try it out but it seems like the Koralias you get More GPH for less $$ and about the same amount of wattage

Do the new prop pumps work with the seio controller?

So basically it's a SEIO with a propeller instead of that stupid impeller they used, it's still the same pump overall. A little late to join the propeller pump market IMO.

And it's a Rio.

YOU'VE GOT TO BE A NIEVE NEWBIE OR INSANE TO SPENT THAT MUCH ON A POLARIO

why the polario has alot of GPH and is controllable and is less then the tunze or vortec so why would you need to be such a "nieve newbie or insane to buy one"? also im also sure one pumps 5k gph and the other 10k gph no other pump does that other then the 6301 i think

That is useless flow from a propeller pump. Might work well on a 20G tank, if you don't mind it taking up 25% of the tank's space.

$279/$339 for a SEIO! That's nuts. :eek1:

is the polario even available?

I wouldn't say 5000gph is useless.

The things come with controller hence the price.....mind you the controller only controls one pump so IMO it is a bit of a waste....

Yeah, I think the biggest thing even more than the price is the real estate this thing will take up. Looks big

They are 9.5" long by 3"... Not that big if you put them on the back wall of a tank behind the rockwork.....

Energy Efficient, High Flow Low Voltage Water Pump
• Bi-Directional Outputs to Simulate Natural Wave and Current Actions of the Ocean
• Variable Time and Output Settings
• Flow Rates Up to 5500GPH/22000LPH. (On Selected Models)
• Single or Dual Outputs
• Preset Feeding Settings at 8 min. and 16 min.
• Magnet Mount Included to Secure Pump
• Pre-Programmed in All Settings to Gradually Increase Flow
• In “Auto” Mode, Pump Initially Alternates 15 sec. Left and Right
• The Alternating Water Currents Can Be Set to Switch Every 15 sec. to 30 min.
• Mini Sun Moon Light Adapter Included
• 16 Volt UL Listed Transformer Included

Not too bad and would take up less room than a TUZE WAVE BOX and costs less.......

I saw a polario plumbed externally at macna a couple of years back, and it looked awesome. Massive flow, and it can change directions on a dime.

Not for me, but it IS innovative. I could see one internally at the base of the back wall of a tank. Would really provide some nice flow and get the detritus moving.
