What do you use to clean the inside of your tank with? I'm looking for something for routine front viewing panel cleaning that WILL NOT scratch the acrylic easily.

you can get scrapers that have plastic blades in them that work fairly well. I use them all the time. Kent makes the ones I use but there are others...

I use both Mag Float and Kent plastic scraper.Mag float for all but last 2'' above sand and then scraper from that to bottom. As stuccedude said make sure there is nothing stuck between.

I use Magnavore 6 magnet cleaner for my acrylic tank. I also use Kent plastic scraper to clean the inside of my tank sometimes.

Acrylic sponge pads which I keep super clean and never touch bottom or sand.
Bottom couple inches at sand I use kent scraper, which I also use for coraline, and I check every time for nicks or burs.
Mag floats CAN be OK, but you need to rinse and check for sand/snails/coraline/whatever, and it takes just one Jackhole to show up and go "wow, this is neat" and run mag into sand and up glass.
Learned that one the hard way, lucky I was about to do my swap, anyway.
Even w/ all this overly anal protection, expect there will most likely be scratches.

I use mag float type magnet stuff for mine with a micron filter pad between the magnet and the inside of the acrylic. For those stubborn coraline algae spots, I use the dobie pads from 3m.
