Nitrates

I have a nitrate tested kit that measures in meg/L. how do I convert meg/L to ppm. It seems when people are talking about their nitrates it always in ppm. My test kit tested my tank at 20 meg/l, is that bad...good...ugly?

mg/L is the same as ppm, for hobbyist purposes. They're within about 2%. 20 ppm is fine for most animals. Stony corals might have an issue.

Thanks Bertoni.....I've just upgraded to a much bigger skimmer so hopefully it will pull those numbers down a bit, just gotta get threw the break in period....microbubbles i hate them....:)
