I've been running my 92 gallon reef with a 20K 175 Watt Metal Halide and 1 PC actinic. Timer for halide at about 7 hours with the PC coming on and off before and after the halide at about 8 hours with a led moonlight during the night hours.
My PC just went out. It's about a year and a half old so I'm assuming the bulb shutoff or the ballast fried.
Anyway. Opinions needed Please
Should I just run the 20K halide at 7 hours and forget about the PC bulb, maybe increase the run time? Or should I replace the PC bulb (hopefully only the bulb and not elect. ballast) continue on as usual. If I run just the 20K halide should I change spectrum to 14K or 10k down the road when it's through? I only have some softies and looking to keep LPS like frogspawn and Hammers
