Where to buy ac/dc adapter that is adjustabe of canopy fan.(PIC)

Where to buy ac/dc adapter that is adjustable for canopy fan so as to quiet down two aqualight fans. I am thinking if i bring down the voltage from 12v to 9v it should help. The fans are very quiet until i installed them in the caompy now the air hits the light bulbs and reflector and causes noise. This is what i have. Would like to replace the ac adapter part:

I got one @ Walmart. It has 7 voltages. I think it goes from 3V-12V or so.

Thanks, last night i cut the wires on an old cell phone charger and i can't believe how much it lowered the noise level. I am still ordering a variable version because the cell phone charge is only 6.5v compare to the 12v the unit came with. But i have to put my hand on the grill because you can't tell it is running. Thanks again.
