I put this on another forum but thought this might be the more appropriate forum. I am setting up a 75g mixed reef tank, viewable from both sides. Decided on the vortex powerheads BUT need the following help:

1. Should I get one or two powerheads?

2. Where would the ideal placement be?

For a 75 gallon mixed tank I would start with one pump and go from there. Because the pump is viewable from both sides (I'm assuming you mean both long sides), then I would place it on the ends.
