Oh man...I'm going to have to give them a call to see when/if they're doing it. I'd love to upgrade to a 72 bowfront.

u cant get a bow tank, i believe that their $1 per gallon only applies for rectangular tanks

its how i got my 20L, found out about it the last day of the sale and it was the only tank left

Oh...well if I couldn't get the bow....then I might just go for the 90 rectangular.

You might be thinking of a pet store called jacks in the Ohio area. they are having a dollar/gallon sale right now.

I wish that was the case. Here it's only up to 55g and I believe that's a nationwide thing. Certain stores might run the sale for larger and harder to move tanks.

I bought my 40g breeder during their sale. Good way to save $60 on a tank! Can't wait for the next one (missed this last one, they sold out of breeders within two hours).

True..kind of. I'm very good friends with a regional manager at Petco and once a year they hold a large tank and stand sale. This is where I landed my current 72 AGA bow and stand with glass top, crappy lighting for somewhere 350ish forgot. As stated in some other post, this is the highest quality tank and stand I currently own out of another aga stand and tank and an acrylic.

The stand I got was perfect for salt and sump. Click on the little red house and see how easy it was to be able to fit in a sump about 38 gallons. I chose 20g sump to fit in a 5 gallon auto topoff system.

I love the modern black finish and bow, fits nicely as a furniture centerpiece to my livingroom.

List price the combo at petco nears 700 bucks. If you are patient, the sales are there, just have to watch it, like you watch your phosphate levels :)
