About how long would it take a 2 inch peacock to reach full adult size?

Or maybe we don't know . The knowledge base on mantis shrimp is minimal at best. Keep a journal and possibly you can add to what we know about mantis shrimp growth and lifespan.

Define "full adult size". They never stop growing. I think it's a few years to sexual maturity.

Approximately the average peacock growth is about 1/2-1" per year so you would be looking at 5+ years to reach 7" which is the maximum length known.

but you have to remember that as a small mantis it will grow faster. the bigger the mantis the less often it molts. the less it molts, the less it grows. and it also depends on the species and individual to a degree
