Does anyone have any suggestions for a light that is not too expensive that will fit this aquarium? It's 17" wide.
Also, any skimmer recommendations?
Thanks, Jeff

Light... a 70W MH would be my choice. I would not use a skimmer...it serves no purpose...your nutrient export would be with water changes.

no skimmer- just do consistant water changes. for filtration i would probably throw on a little aquaclear or somehting similar

light- JBJ viper. 70W metal halide. clip it onto the back of the tank and go. VERY affordable

i wouldnt do MH for such a tiny tank...honestly, you would only have enough room for 2-3....and still, they would look like frags.....i'd say stick with pc's, and keep shrooms and zoas

yeah good point...

you might need more than one, but taam rio (i think its them) makes a lil' 10-bulb LED light. that might be kinda neat looking if you got a few (i think their only like $25 on marinedepot.com)
