I've been researching the Solaris systems (LED), and can't determine whether or not the product's "manual" system override would allow the Profilux to take charge of daily lighting variations.

Has anyone invested in a full LED conversion on this list? I know in BC, at $0.08 per kilowatt hour, it's not an economical choice at this point, but the reduction in heat, 9-year bulb replacement cycles and unlimited lighting variability are tempting arguments.

Thanks. New to this list, but very happy with the quality of discussions and detail in the postings here.

Regards,

Erik (Victoria, BC) - currently running 2 150w halides and 2 4' vhos (not dimmable).

Solaris should be able to give an answer - ProfiLux has a standard 1-10V-interface output for dimming control.
