I am thinking about getting a tunze osmolator for top off but I dont have a sump so the float switch and sensor will have to go in the display. How big are the float switches I can't really get a good idea of the size from pictures. Basically I'm wondering if they will look terrible in the display or if there not too bad. Also I've read that strong magnets will effect the sensor, I have two 6045's on each side of my 36" tank and a maxi-jet with a magnetic mount near the bottom of the tank will the magnets be a problem?

Heres a pic where would the best placement be?

Hi Cody,

The Osmolator sensors are small less then a couple of inches diameter and length and would not be very obtrusive on your display. The distance from the magnets you mentioned will not be an issue.

But what about the tracks that hold the sensors I've heard they are over a foot long that would be obtrusive. Can they be trimmed to size?

They are 7" long and can be cut to size.
