How about two pictures of two ocellaris being hosted by two LTAs.
(( took them about 2 month to be hosted ))

That's awesome TODD!
I was tempted to get a red LTA that was posted here recently, but I thought I heard that if you have 2 like that they will spawn frequently and possibly cloud tank?
Is that true, and how long have you had yours together?

Thanks,

Only had them together for about a month, so I can't speak for them spawning or not. The purple one ended up dieing, it had a whole in its foot when I got it, held on for about a month, and then went downhill fast. But, I really wish I could have kept them like that to see what happens, perhaps one day.

I know, I saw that red one, and was tempted, since I recently lost my other purple one. (( wasn't too happy after I redid my other tank ))

These pics actually show beginner ignorance on my part from way back b4 this site.
I remember arguing that you COULD have mixed clowns, and how I had a maroon and a pair of occs.
I remember someone saying to check back later, and of course the maroon had chased the occs out as soon as she matured.
The occs took to my LTA, but I think they were drawn in by the maroon at first.

That's too bad TODD.
I'm really curious about 2 together.

I know, it was really great looking, and would have liked to have seen what happened long term.

I am doing it with two Haddonnis, but so far nothing to note.

Because they aren't a natural host.

Just give it time, took mine about 2 months to be hosted by my LTA.

I had my false for months and they ignored nems, which is typical w/ false.
They could never be interested.
Mine were enticed by the addition of a maroon, which dove straight in.
My smallest occ fell in love w/ the maroon, and followed it everywhere.
Although this was short lived as the maroon matured and chased them away viscously.
Some have had success by taping a pic of a big clown in a nem to either intimidate or show them what to do, it works, try that.

Read daveoceans post about when he was a n00b and thought it was ok to do things like that.

The best thing to do is wait False percula love long tentacled anemones just give them time.

no what i was saying is that if i put an african clown in my tank and if my african clown would host the LTA, will my false percs follow my african clown in>>>>??

Right...that's exactly the problem. You'll have too many clowns in your tank, within a short time aggressions will become fatal to one or more clownfish.

JUST BE PATIENT.

who owns that nem, the maroon, or the perc?

Maroon will ALWAYS dominate in my opinion.
That scenario only lasted maybe 3mo b4 the maroon kicked the snot out of both occs.
Had to remove occs.

So, would this be in your 1.5 gallon tank, or your 3 gallon tank that you started at the beginning of the month?

3 gallon for sure ....

A 3 gallon is way to small for an LTA, or any other hosting anemone.

In a 3g I wouldn't put anything more than a small piece of frogspawn and a small clown, and keeping that going will be a challenge.
Small tanks are much harder to run than large.
I wouldn't put a nem in anything smaller than a 30g, and that's really pushing it IMO.

You've been in the hobby since 03, so not quite the same exp as someone new to hobby for one, and 6 mo is not what I consider long term success.
In a small tank, it's tough to keep params stable long term, and intakes are SO close to a nem, especially as it grows.
