What kind of lighting should I use on a 20 long with mainly frogspawn, candy canes, and a brain coral?

I have a 150watt MH but I think it might be too much?

I doubt it is too much.

I have 2 x 70W MH and 50W T5 over my 15 and almost wish I had more.

Heat may be an issue for you yet I don't think the light is too intense for your coral.

I have a chiller and temps never go anywhere. Stays right at 79 degrees.

What do you need help with? Do you want to look into something other than your 150W MH?

If you don't want to use that T5's will fit nicely over your tank and give you lots of options.

Need help with what would be the best light setup.

If I had the 150 MH I'd at least try it first. 150w isn't nearly as intense as you seem to think it is. And you get the glimmer lines :D .

If you decide not to go with MH then power compacts are probably your most cost effective option. I get great LPS growth with 96w of PC over a 10 gallon tank.

If you aren't going to use that MH what do you want for it ;) ?
