Alright guys, I need to find a small reflector for a DIY project on my 20 gallon. I already have a ballast, I just need a reflector that is quite small to house my bulb. Gimme some help. I have searched google all day and can not find anything.

500W halogen fixtures will work.

If you go to Home Depot etc. they have these in stock.

Or... you can buy the socket from a hardware store and use something like a T5 parabolic reflector... examples are in my red house

I really want something smaller than that. I am putting 2 x 24w T5's in my hood along with a 70w halide. I don't think I will have the room for one of those

Yeah I have had the same problem actually... I ended up cutting up a T5 reflector and bending it a bit so that it was only around 2.5" wide. I mounted the MH bulb using the socket found in my Halogen fixture.

It looks like I am just going to have to buy a socket and bend some aluminum.
