not sure how to mount my chalice, but it has a solid under side so i am thinking just glue that to a rock? and just keep the sides free and up in the air? or does it need to be mounted on the side to a rock?

can anyone give me tips on what the best way to mount a chalice is?

leave it on the sand if u want a flat pancake type look to it.

i tried that... i think may be with a combo of good current, light sand and a diamond goby, it always seems like the chalice gets covered partially? do you think that is okay?

Sand on the tissue of the chalice is not good.

yea, that is what i was thinking... i wanted to get it up off the sand and also get it alittle closer to the lights... how much light do chalices usually need?

I place my Tyree red watermelon about 8-10 from 4-54W TEK2 T5 and it looks more like the pink watermelon chalice. My golden eye is about 15-16 inches down. Both have good turbulent flow.
Anyone know where golden eye should be place?
