I've had the frogspawn for about 3 weeks. The tissue on one if the polyps is starting to recede. I checked the parameters and they are stable. What should I do?

need more info on tank. size, tests and results, etc. How is it receding? Could it be growing? the tissue on a branching frogspawn slowly pulls up while it grows.

Could be not enough light, do you feed your frogspawn?

I have a 40 gallon breeder with a 20 gallon sump. I have 250w MH lighting which should be enough for LPS. Amonia 0, Nitrite 0 , Nitrate is on the lowest scale on the chart I forgot what is was. My calcium is kinda high, its about 450 right now i'm just trying to figure out the dosing schedule.

The tissue is receding from three corners of one of the polyps.

And also the frogspawn is placed on the sand bed.

Check the ALK I screwed up a few days ago by dosing ALK instead of CAL and wondered why they were all looking like crap the next day. Silly me :p

I'm sure others will disagree, but IMO 250W is a lot on a 40 for LPS corals, could be too much even...

Although I should add flow is the typical culprit..

Okay i'll try to move it to a place with less flow. Thanx for you input.
