They are rated for 90 gal. in the US. What size is your tank? No sump?

It's for a tank in project,
I want to do it sumpless and the ATB is the HOT skimmer the most powerful I know,
So it will be the skimmer who will determine my tank volume...

Victor - are you back from SD? Were you able to drop off and install the skimmer in Tec's tank?

Came home to an overflowed cabinet last night. Power went out and when it came back on the skimmer went crazy due to the high sump level. Is there any way to delay the start of the skimmer using the reefkeer lite? Or any other solutions out there?

I've done some searching but can't find anything, thanks in advance...

I had the same thing happen to me a few times. I now use a APC battery backup for my return pump so that my sump level doesnt rise. keeps my return pump running for about 4-5 hours.

There should be a way to delay. I know there is on the RK2

do you know what that is called on the RK2? Maybe the lite has a similar function. (start delay?)

Not sure. I would ask in the DA forum.

If this helps anyone, suggestion from the DA forums was to set the skimmer up as a MH light on the RKL. This would give you a 15 minute lag on the skimmer before it started up again.
