Trigger compatability

Wondering if I could keep a Blue Throat Trigger fish with a Blue (niger) Trigger and are Blue Throats safe with shrimps and crabs? Thanks.

sure you can keep them together, but a trigger that is compatible with shrimp and crabs is a hit or miss with any species

even know they are "reef safe" they will eat shrimp and crabs.Some will some wont you just have to get lucky.Triggers eat shrimp and crabs that just what they do

the niger will eat shrimps,snails and crabs.With the blue throat they are a hit and miss when it comes to snails and crabs.Mine left the shrimps alone but I don't remember if they ate the snails and crabs,I had so many at the time.In general bluet hroats and pink tails are very passive.The blue throat even more its a very shy fish.
