I have a 156gal (5x2x2) reef with sps/lps/zoas. On it is 2-10k, 1-12k, and 2- actinic all 140 watts each. I leave the actinic on 1 hour before and 1 hour after. I go for 10hrs daylight and 12 actinic. How many hours would you leave the daylights on for a day?

Mine are on a similiar schedule. The 30 watt sun glow bulb comes on at 10 am and goes off at 10 pm. The VHO's are on from 12pm to 9 pm. Two actinic, two 50/50. Has worked very well for me.

Your schedule sounds about normal. It really depends on your corals, tank temp (if a problem), algae, etc.

OK just wanted to know if they were on to long. Corals look great was more worried about having on to long and creating algae. No heat issues just trying to avoid future prblem. Bulbs are replaced every 6-7 months.

If all your stuff looks good and no heat or algae problems, I would leave as it is. If anything does come up you can then adjust appropriately.

Though, if you do get new coral additions, be aware of what lighting conditions they are coming from so you can place them correctly in your system.
