Good RO/DI units.

What are some good RO/DI unit brands that are reasonably priced to set up and sustain a 46 gallon tank. I don' t wanna go broke on one, but I don't want junk either. Ok, Also do I need ro/di or is an ro filter gonna serve me well without the deionizer?

The DI stage really makes all the diffearnce in the world. I would not get a system without one.

Without DI, you will still release silicates into the water which will cause algae outbreaks. Phosphates as well are filtered out during DI.

I reccommend the filter guys do to great product, price, simple setup, and excellent service!

I have a GE Merlin that I got a few years back. It can produce between 500-700 GPD, but it's just RO. I've been thinking about adding this separate DI unit as the last stage of filtration. Anyone have any experience with these?
