I have a 3 inch vlamingii and would like to add a Kole to my tank. I've heard vlamingii's can be aggressive towards other tangs. They will be about the same size, do I have anything to worry about?
You very well may. It's hard to predict but tangs grow extraodinarily fast and if you're putting the two in a 20-gallon tank, I'd say your just asking for trouble. In fact, while the Kole might be all right alone for a very short time, neither should be kept in a 20 because they so quickly outgrow it. It isn't fair to the fish.

Vlamingii's get HUGE!!! Kole will be ok in 90, but you should have plans on what to do with the other. Even in a 90 it will be ok for a short time but they require a long large tank for open swimming room. It will outgrow the 90 pretty quickly. Agree it should not be in a 20 at all.

I knew the size issue was coming :)
When the vlamingii gets a bit bigger he's going to a friends.
