I don't know, but I've not heard of it before. Which recipe did you use? Did the added solution get near the coral before mixing in? How fast was it added?

on two occasions within two years this happened.first time with your formula on a green mille.second time wiyh esv.i added a half gallon of esv and brought the level up from 1150 to 1350 with one dose.according to jd calculator,it shoyld only have come up 100 ppm,but it rose 200 ppm.its a 200 gallon system.i may have calculated wrong.thanks Dan

Huh. Well, I'd add it more slowly in the future, although I do not know if this was the cause or not.

no way to tell from two instances,but i will definately not do that again.thanks for looking,i am still puzzled,everything in the tank looks great.i did notice that all my acros are a little darker than before the correction.but thats it.
