I am new to seahorses, and somewhat new to reef keeping- I currently have several bubble tip anemone and a couple clown fish that I would like to keep but I want to keep seahorses(dwarf) as well. I have a 90 gallon aquarium, literally full of live rock. Has anyone tried this before? Will the clown fish bother the seahorses?

I would not recommend keeping anykind of coral and/or invert that stings in with the seahorses. They'll try to grab ahole of a tenticle to hang on and get themselves dead real quick. The clown "probably" won't bother em, depending on species, but the clownfishes "host" will. I wouldn't put any LPS, SPS, or anything else that WILL harm them. A nice leather/softie tank would probably work better.

FYI, I do not have any personal experience with seahorses, this is all based on what i've read and seen in person. Best of luck.

thanks man, I know that the anemone will kill them in an instant I just didn't know if the seahorses may somehow leave them alone with so many other great places to attach themselves.

Coral won't hurt the seahorses but the anemone would. You can't really take the chance of keeping them with the anemone in the tank. It's unlikely that the clownfish would harm the seahorse in any way but they will out-compete with them for food. So, if you want to keep seahorses, it's best to keep them with just other seahorses and maybe some very benign fish like a pipefish and even possibly, a Rainsford Goby.
