hey guys, i was wondering what would be the optimum GPH through a phosban reactor? and if a maxi jet 1200 is to much? thanks

I use a Mini-Jet since the MJ's aren't pressure rated. The flow rate would be too high if the 1200 actually reached rated output, which is unlikely.

yea i see your point. what is the GPH of the mini-jet?

the same question came up somewhere, but someone suggested using an MJ900 and using a valve to throttle it back

but with the MJ not being pressure rated the pumps life would be shortened dramatically espesially if the pump is restricted.

it's usually the opposite, the pressure rated pumps do not like to be throttled back where as it is perfectly fine throttling back a flow rated pump. That is why reeflo actually tells people it is perfectly fine to throttle back all their flow rated pumps.

I use a 606, and it has adjustable flow. I think its output is up to 114 gph, but I'm always forgetting.
