I don't have the money for an RO unit right now but I was wondering if it's worth getting purified water from the grocery store or just using tap water with conditioner. Its a 40g and I only need 10G for my water changes. Whats the difference between purified water and distilled water? thx

Not really. Always an exception to the rules.

Buy an RO for under $100.00 then later add a DI if needed. JC
