What would be the recommended lighting for a refugium.

Sump size is 30 gallons. Display is 75 gallons.

Thanks

I'll tag along for this one. I have DIY 20g sump with maybe a 5 gallon refuge....

one might find that a lot of people are using this bulb
and some even go to home depot/lowes to get similar bulbs which seem to work too!

i ordered the one that melev recoms/researched
on his website but again have seem other people conveniently using the bulbs from local hardware

nice that w/ all the expensive 'accessories'
in this hobby - that there is a cheap and very effective fuge liting option!

when first setting up fuge asked the LFS about liting
told me only a halide (from their store) would work and that all else is a waste of time... for maximum growth that is :eek1:

and for only 20bucks lite/fixture unit complete!
not to mention the monthly savings on the electric bill over using halides

I get my bulbs from the local home depot, but I thought I'd throw in the melev's web site link.
He has a huge amount of other very useful info.
