How are people getting their angels that require sponge (ie regals) what they need. Are there any other alternatives Ocean Nutritions angel formula and pygmy angel formula? Does anyone know where you can buy edible marine sponge if there is such a thing? All comments are appreciated.

You would need to get sponge from their natural habitat which doesn't come in as far as I know. I only know of carribean species, but most people who keep regals long term have them eating prepared foods. You just have to keep your eye out for one that is eating in LFS or I know on liveaquaria sometimes in the divers den they get in regals eating prepared foods.

Unless you can dive and get your own your best bet would just hope that it gets enough to get by from the frozen foods that say they carry sponge in it. I feed heavily that stuff for my idol and emperor angel
