Sight of Fish

How far can fish see outside of the tank?

I just put in two new fish in my tank, Blonde Naso (lg) and powder brown tang (small). They run away everytime I come to the tank which is typical and understodd. but they also run away even if I am on the other side of the room. I have to hide behind the wall to see them swimming. I put them in on Friday.

Not sure how far they can see outside the tank, but they can see shadows. Give them time to adjust and get used to movement around the tank.
