I bought one and he is now in my 29 gallon fowlr. I do have a blood shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. From what i have researched and looked at the star wouldnt be able to catch either. Am i mistaken, or should i be worried about them. If they are in danger i can move them to my reef. Thanks for the help!

I think the shrimp are safe from the starfish

I had one for a while but he devoured a bunch of my zoos so I took him back to the lfs (I know, research, but it was a gift so I gave it a chance). In a fowlr he should be ok. The shrimp will keep out of his way. I fed mine freeze-dried krill and he seemed like it. Not sure that that's their natural diet, or even if anyone knows

I have one in my FOWLR tank for 18 months now. He don't bother anyone. I also have had a pink tip anemone and coral banded shrimp for 18 months, and it has never touched them. But I do here they will eat corals.

I had one in my tank for about a year, it ate some gsp and 2 or 3 mushrooms. It never bothered my cleaner shrimp. I hear the chocolates will eat anything they can catch no matter it is. I got rid of it though so I could keep more corals.

My harlequin shrimp would like him for a tank mate j/k... On this site "if it can catch it it will eat it"

I know that i cant put in my reef, i was just hoping he wouldnt be able to catch my shrimp. I figured that the shrimp would be too fast though. Thanks.
