pipe question

I found black plastic pipe at lowes today but not PVC but ABS DWV pipe is this reef safe pipe...George Orndorff

ABS(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) DWV(drain waste and vent) pipe is safe. LEGO's, clarinets, etc are made from it as well
