I want to add some bright color to my tank. It is a 24 gallon aquapod with a 150 watt hqi. I really like the flame angel but im worried that it might be too big. I also like the bi color. what do all of you think?

I had a Flame in my 24g Nanocube. IMO it was to small of a tank.
They are constant grazers and always moving around the tank. Also intimidated all other fish in the tank.

Lost mine after a month, was eating prepared foods fine, either not getting enough nutrients or was sick when I bought him.

A better option, if you have tankmates that can coexist, is a Cherub/Pygmy Angel. Much smaller but still just as active. Mine beat up on my firefish and sometimes my Blue Assesor so watch for aggression.

I have a flame angel in my 24g NC w/ 150watt HQI. :D

He steals the show when I have visitors over, grazing on the rock non-stop. Accepts frozen brine, mysis shrimp, and formula 1/2 pellets. Basically eats anything I drop into the tank. No experience with the bicolors, but I hear they're a little more difficult to care for.

You can see my flame in relation to the rest of my tank:

too big imo...

I had a coral beauty in a 30, and took it back due to coral nipping and looking back I think it was cutting it close even in a tank with 30 gallon volume (remember your 24 is more like a 20 gallon)

Yea, I posted this question about a year ago and decided to not get one due to the fact that you never know it they'll pick at your coral.

Typically LPS and clams. You should be fine.
