Do you know if the micro bubble issue has been resolved with the new larger nano? Can this or any of the cones be ran in sumps without baffles? I am interested in one these skimmers but would hate to purchase one then find out that I need to change my sump also. Do the new nanos still use the 1250 with meshwheel or is it now a needlewheel? What water level do you recomend for the sump? Any price breaks for being one of the first to try it one of the new nanos?
Thanks

Hi
The new nano does not have any more microbubbles. We have increased the body to 7.5 inches and increased the neck to almost 4 inches. The pump is an eheim 1250 with a needlewheel. The sump water level is 6 inches.

We will also change all the nomenclature in two weeks when the skimmers arrive they will be small, medium, large, xtra large, and a xxl for commercial apps.

The new color scheme is nice. I think it would look great in all white as well, similar to the small posted on the website

There is one problem though we can't find a 32mm tee for the nano or it would be in red and white also

Well from the pics and videos it looks like a great performer regardless of the color :D

What is the air draw difference if there is one with the needle wheel as opposed to the mesh wheel.
Thanks Rob

The needlewheel is 500-550.
The meshwheel is 700-750.

Can you get it with either one or is the mesh still to much air for the body size.
Thanks

I think it will still have some micro bubbles but I ran it with the old body size with the meshwheel pump and turned the outlet the opposite way of the return pump and I had no microbubbles get in my display tank. You have the option of picking which impeller you would like.

Have you run both of them to see if the mesh wheel works better or not?

Hi
I have tested the current small with a mesh wheel. It still has a little amount of micro bubbles coming out the outlet. With the needlewheel there is none at all.
