Hi guys, i have got a 12g Dx "nano cube" and i did the basic mod's, new pump, filters, took out the bio balls.. blah blah..
I got this gift for my mom. It's in the computer room were she does most of her study's.

I would like some opinion on what to stock this with. i want something that she would get that :eek1: effect. Something cool..you no? I haven't dealt with under 30g so I'm not sure how to stock this. However i do no she wants a clown fish.:D So, that's on the list for sure. Thanks for any help in advanced,
Marry Christmas,
-James

get a blenny or goby ...many to choose from.Their personailty is awesome and in a small tank they can entertain for hours.

My tailspot blenny does well in my 12g with my true perc. Very cool little fish (love his personality).

I always loved the geometric pygmy hawkfish. Very quirky and interesting eyes.

It's actually an anthias, but we'll keep that between us.

Thanks zatko,InLimbo87,NiTr0x911, and Wm15.

Those are great ideas! now, I believe i would like to keep 3 MAX. On the other hand, is there a way to keep 4?:D I no thats pushing it, but im going to get a skimmer for it, and i do weekly 20% water changes. I mean like the 4th being a neon goby, or something....

Now what about the coral part. With my lil lighting i have, what could survive i my tank. I have a 150 sun pod on my Bc29 but, all my corals are sps, and just like 1 or 2 zoas. Therefore, i don't have anything in there i can stock it with. What do you recommend?
thanks,
-James

I wouldn't do four. I believe I've maxed it with three (neon goby as third fish). Four is just asking for trouble in a tank that is truly <10g total water volume.

With the DX hood, you should have no problem keeping soft corals and most LPS (remember space requirements with the more agressive species, however). SPS/clams/anems are an obvious no go.
