This is a mummy eye with a bad camara...

the eyes on mine are more orange... This could be due to a difference in lighting and placment...

I would say that it is not. The base is too dark and the original mummy eye has more orange eyes and the light green base shimmers. I was lucky enough to get a piece from the original colony and there is great story behind it as well. That is why lineage is so important to me, but I like the hunt.
It is a nice piece though.

thanks everyone :) i'm going to try to get so metal halide to put over them, to see if the color any differ

The original colony in the chalice thread doesn't look much like the two different mummy eye chalices. Like I said, It is still a nice piece.
It's not just the color that makes the pieces different as well.

Closer to the miami hurricane. You would have no doubts if you trully aquired a piece, and the vets and lucky collectors that do own a piece are still modest in size.

very nice looking piece.....but not THE mummy eye, which is a lighter green.
