Everyone has frozen foods, but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for live silver sides. I imagine some of you have got to be feeding live silver sides...thanks

Well in CT you can catch some yourself.
When the whether warms up you should have no problem getting a nice amount. I do it every summer to feed my larger fish, especially groupers.
However, when its too cold to catch your own, the only thing I can think of is a bait shop. Personally, I wouldn't want to touch that disease ridden stuff. You could quarantine them but silversides aren't the hardiest of fish.

Silversides will not ship well. Very high metabolic rate and oxygen consumption. They die within seconds of being out of water. If you can't catch them yourself, don't bother.

If you are looking for live food, salt water minnows are a much better option. I thought you were looking for a schooling fish for your tank.

If you are willing to pay for shipping, I'll send you a couple of dozen minnows for free to try out.
