The guy has not been doing well in his tank. So I removed him and when he was put in his current tank(a frag tank) he seemed to be doing better. This morning he has unattached himself from the rocks so I was able to see all these little white things mostly around the foot but working their way up the side as well. What are they?

Your anemone is falling apart. That is its insides, I would get it out of the tank asap.

Sorry broke1 once your bta starts showing its insides in other places other than its mouth... it is gone.. even though it is still moving there is no saving it at this point.:(

IS there any way that you damaged the foot when you removed him from the other tank? Id leave him for know if you have had it for a while it may recover, try to place it in low current area. If it does look like it is melting then it may be time to remove for the system.

He pretty much fell off the rock when removed from the tank, but it's not impossible that I did some damage.

I have had him for several months. I will let him be until he looks to be dead.
