Hypersalinity OD

Can a fish recover from a hypersalinity OD 1.031

I have a flame angle that was put in last night.. having issues with my conductivity probe and found that my salinity was very high. all other fish must have acclimated over time this one was new yesterday.

I have slowly 1-1.5hrs been lowering the salinity in a quarantined for the angle from 1.026 to 1.015...

Getting more movement from him but will he make it through?

well 12hrs after getting him and placing him in the tank he passed..

I tried for over +2hrs to lower the salinity from what was in the tank .. to a quaratine to 1.015.. Thought we were making progress but alas he passed.

It was my new calibration solution that i believe is off for my conductivity probe that all started the problem.. And saltwater top offs. Always learning.. Guess I need to double check all meters/probes.
