12 gal nano cubemaster, are they a good tank?

Hello,
The wife just informed me I can spend $300 for a qt tank.:D So I am looking at this 12 gallon nano cube master tank for like $140 shipped. It says it has 3 8watt t5 lights with moonlights too. I know absoulutley nothing about nano tanks so I am relying on you all. Is this a good deal? I already have the sand and rock. It looks like I will need to buy a heater and a skimmer. Any recomendations? remember I have to keep it under my budget.

I figure it could go in my kitchen and serve as my quarantine tank. I tend to go crazy with clams and need to start qting the new livestock. I'll problably put some zoa's and shrooms in the tank just to give it some life.

With that kind of budget, I'd go with a biocube if you're looking for an all-in-one.

The Biocube's have power compact lighting and I am alot more interested in the t5's. I am also limited to space so I need to keep it 15 gallons or less.

the lights look more like vho to me t5 are thinner

Agree with you a 100%. Biocube is one of the best All-In-One tank you can get for a decent price.

Your best bet is the bio cube. I have first hand experience with the cube master.The ballest lasted about 2 months, they replaced the whole hood and that lasted about 3 or 4 months.Iam not the only one with that problem.
