On diver's den, the Fiji Gold Arothron puffer, has been labeled with the wrong scientific name. This may be the reason for this gorgeous fish not being sold over the past couple weeks. The fish is labeled is Arothron meleagris when it should be Arothron Nigropunctatus. You can tell by the facial shape, brown blotch coloration and finnage. The Meleagris usually has remmenance of black and white polka dot blotches on the body and fins, and has a very wide head. The gold morph Nigropunctatus has a narrower head and snout and has almost spray paint looking brown patches and full brown patches, and sometimes brown fins. As you can see the specimen in diver's den fits that criteria.
