Will T5 wires melt if touching reflectors?

I have IC reflectors; will the plastic coating on the wires melt if I let them touch the reflectors?

i would say, maybe i wouldnt take the chance and short out the 660 or worse

to many factor to determine the out come

how are the wires touching the reflectors? The wiring should be separated from the reflectors and the bulbs ideally.

I doubt that the reflectors will get hot enough to melt the insulation...but no guarantees.

I'm actually using Tek ballasts, so they're not overdriven. The wires aren't touching the edges of the reflectors, but a couple are resting against the backs of the reflectors.
