Enough light????

Hey everyone,

I think clams are sweet...! I really want to have one one day and just wanted to make sure if this light setup would cut it. I am going to be putting a 36" 6x39w Nova Extreme Pro over a 50 gallon tank that is 36 3/8" x 18 3/8" x 19". Can this setup keep clams??

yes you should be fine with this fixture. here is a thread for clams lighting requirements.

Don't try to add any clams until your tank is at least 6 months old and you have perfect water params.

Check out the 3 sticky's at the top of the clam forum too, they are loaded with info.
