Looks just like mine I got off ebay. Make sure to get some calibrating fluid with it, and don't use ro like in the directions say.

This on is difficult to read because you are measuring 1.020 - 1.028. It is a very small area on this scale. You may need to break out the specticles on this one.

Looks a little high you should bring it down to 1.025.:D

I suggest you get some Pinpoint Salinity Calibration Fluid to set it. It seems that when using purified water, as lots do, to calibrate, the refractometer is off by a few thousandths (1.022 when I thought my water was 1.025). I bought the fluid through MarineDepot myself. The fluid is at 35ppt. The exact name of the fluid is: Pinpoint Salinity Monitor 53.0mS Calibration Fluid. I learned about it in the Chemistry Forum here on RC. There is a thread somewhere on it.

I will probably use RO water for no until I can buy some of the calibration liquid. Thanks for all the input guys.
