it could work fine or the bulb could be total junk and everything in the aquarium that has zoothanlee in it will start to go downhill...

so i would try it out if in a couple of days your corals etc. start looking bad i would get a new bulb

at the worst case scenario you have to spend like another $20 for a bulb
