Best conditions for acans?

I have some acans in my mostly sps tank. The tank is lit with two 150w de 14k phoenix bulbs and suplimented with two 96w blueline 50/50 bulbs.

When I first acquired the acans they always had their tenacles out but lately I haven't seen them at all. They are growing and spreading.

Should I be concerned? Tank has good flow but could it be too much light????

In my experience, acans love dirty water. Mine do best when my ph is at 8 and nitrates are at 20 with ca at 460 and alk at 9. I have very little flow in my tank and have some of the acans at the top of the tank near the 150w MH. But I am no expert. Good luck
