Hello all. Quick intro 1st. Long time aquarist, working on my 2nd year w/ SW. Feel I have been pretty successful. I currently have a 75 reef with SPS & LPS both showing great growth.

Anyway, on to the purpose of this post. I want to set up a species tank. I've been reading up quite a bit and have come up with the following ideas.

1) 30" x 24" x 21" = ~65g, DSB (at least 4"), minimal LR (few pcs. at the back), 20g long full of LR
S. haddoni
Saddleback clown pr. (I have read these may be kept in sm. groups?)

2) 30" x 18" x 21" = ~50g, bare bottom, lots of LR, & 20g long with 6-8" DSB (good idea?)
RBTA
GSM clown pr.

Either would have as many HO-T5's as I can fit above it and 29g sump/refugium. I plan on using a Coralife 65 skimmer and 2 Seio 620's for flow.

I'm leaning towards the Haddoni carpet set-up but Ohh I so luv the GSM clowns.

Thoughts, ideas, opinions, & suggestions much appreciated.:)

Either one sounds fine. You don't need "as many HO-t5's as I can fit about it." 4 or 6 bulbs would be fine for either scenario. A DSB of oolitic aragonite is good, or you could use a Remote deep sand bed--lots of information in a thread by Anthony Calfo here on RC.
